Welcome to the Somatic Experiencing Association UK (SEA UK) - the professional focal point
in Britain for Dr Peter Levine’s therapeutic approach to shock and trauma.
                    Here, you can:
                    • find your nearest UK SE® Practitioner
                    • learn what Somatic Experiencing® is and whether it can help you
                    • (if a SE Practitioner or Trainee) become a member
                    • (if a SE Practitioner or Graduate or Advanced SE Trainee) - apply to join the SEA UK practitioner registry.
Somatic Experiencing® teaches simple, powerful strategies that mobilise the body's innate self-healing systems - the same physiological processes that mend broken bones and fight disease.

Knowledge of trauma's patterns can help ease traumatic reactions as well as potentially prevent symptoms developing after an overwhelming event. Practising SE can be a significant support not just in your own life but to those around you.
