Andréa is an interdisciplinary practitioner with a diverse range of healing practices. She is trained in Shamanic Healing, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), Trauma Birth Resolution Rewind Technique, and bodywork.
Drawing from her background in electrical engineering, Andréa skillfully applies her honed problem-solving skills to identify patterns in her clients’ needs. Through her journey, Andréa gained a profound insight into how thoughts, feelings, and beliefs can influence our biology, solidifying her commitment to a holistic approach to healing.
Andréa’s journey as a healer began in 1995 when she started offering non-contact therapeutic touch, and later integrating trauma resolution practices with shamanic healing, creating a unique blend that effectively addresses the intricate needs of individuals seeking emotional and spiritual healing.
Born and raised in Brazil, Andréa’s practice encompasses native healing rituals, somatic therapy, and feminine empowerment tools. Her work is infused with a deep understanding of nature’s intrinsic wisdom and humanity’s innate ability to heal, and decades of study and practice of shamanism.
For over 10 years, Andréa has been creating beautiful ceremonial spaces, providing bespoke healing sessions, conducting workshops, and organizing transformative retreats. Her work has garnered recognition, with features in publications such as Tatler Magazine, Woman&Home, and Natural Health. She is an active member of professional organizations including the Shamanic Healers Circle, Society for Shamanic Practice, Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), Complementary Therapists Association (CThA), and Somatic Experiencing Association UK.
Andréa is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in her practice, and she believes in the importance of personal growth and development. She places great value on cultivating her own healing work and seeks ongoing support and mentorship, engaging in ongoing psychotherapy, mentorship, case study supervision, and pursues continuous professional development (CPD) training to enhance her skills and stay up-to-date.
In their London home with a fig tree, Andréa resides with her husband and their child.
