SEA UK is pleased to offer two pre-recorded talks by international speakers: Marian Dunlea, M.Sc., IAAP, ICP, introduces her work BodyDreaming™, an embodied therapeutic approach and synthesis of Jungian analysis, Somatic Experiencing® and attachment theory.
It represents the shift in the zeitgeist as somatic practices and neuroscience is slowly integrated within psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Her book on the subject won the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis USA Gradvia Award 2019. Marian is head of the BodySoul Europe Training.
Jane Okondo SEP, RSMT, RSME, RCST, introduces us to early developmental movement patterns. As our nervous system develops rapidly in infancy, it affects our movement and vice versa. Jane shares how she works with these movement patterns in her Somatic Experiencing® sessions and how this map can support neurological organisation and integration.
There are also exercises to support your perception of her work. Jane is on the Board of International Somatic Movement and Therapy Association and teaches in the UK and Russia. The two talks are approximately 60 minutes long, totalling 120 minutes.
